I recently photographed a beautiful family who came to me for family portraits. Casandra and Eric have built a beautiful life together that includes their darling little daughter, Sofia. Sofia is two years old and full of spunk and smiles. Like many little ones her age, Sofia loved picking flowers with her parents. She also loved exploring, playing, snuggling and loving. Casandra mentioned to me how one of her favorite things about her Sofia is the random kisses she gives her mama. It is no surprise to me that this little love is known for that because there were so many sweet moments during their session.

The real moments during the session are always my favorites. The love and snuggles. The natural smiles that come as a result of the love and snuggles. The stolen moments when my clients forget that I am there and just be. Be a family. Be a parent. Be a partner. Those are the moments that we all want to last a lifetime, and through photography, they can. I had so much fun with this family, getting to know them and capturing their beautiful love.
