The Maternity Session Process
Here’s what to expect when working with me. I work hard to make every maternity session easy and fun. When you inquire, here’s what you can expect to happen next.
01 | Inquire & Book
To get started, all you need to do is fill out the contact form and get in touch. I’ll email you back within 48 hours to continue the conversation!
02 | Session Day
We’ll decide on a time and place, and I’ll send you resources to plan your session. Then all you have to do is show up at the scheduled time and I’ll take care of the rest!
03 | Order Products
After the session, we’ll schedule an ordering appointment. This is where you’ll see the photos for the first time and make your decisions about what you’d like to order.
04 | Photo Delivery
Finally, I’ll do my special editing magic and create any products you’ve ordered. Digital items will be delivered in a gallery where you can download files!

Pricing is simple and easy to understand.
To book, you’ll need to pay a session fee of $495.
After that, you’ll be able to purchase any products I offer separately once you see the photos.
Every session comes with 3 free digital files, all digital files can be purchased for $900.
Many clients also want to bundle a newborn session, so I offer several packages that include both newborn and maternity sessions.

01 | How far in advance should I book my maternity session?
In general, I book about 3-6 weeks in advance. Be sure to reach out, because some seasons are busier than others, and occasionally I’ll have a last minute opening even during the busy season. Use my contact page to inquire about availability!

Ultimately the choice comes down to your preferences and how well you get along with the photographer. I work hard to make sure that I offer every family an experience to remember. You’ll love the photos from your session because you’ll make memories with your family during the session.

03 | Do you have maternity gowns I can rent or use for the session?
In the case of inclement weather, you will have the choice of rescheduling to the next available date, or moving to an indoor location. My studio is always an option for comfortable family portraits at any time of the year!

04 | How much should I budget for maternity photos?
While my session fees start at $495, your budget will depend on what you hope to do with your photos. I offer a variety of products, both digital and physical. My most popular package is $3,950 and includes an album, a large canvas, and digital files.
My calendar fills up fast, so make sure to get in touch today to get availability for your next family session. All sessions take place on weekday afternoons. May-June and October always book at least 6 weeks in advance.
