Mamas,

Four days. Countless surprises. So many deserving teachers.

Last week, I had the absolute honor of photographing the Pearland Education Foundation Prize Patrol as they traveled across Pearland Independent School District celebrating educators and awarding grants that will directly impact local classrooms and students. From shocked faces and happy surprises to cheering hallways and standing ovations… these are the moments that remind us why community matters so much.

As photographers, getting to document moments like this is about so much more than taking pictures. It’s preserving the emotion, the impact, and the stories behind the people who pour so much into others every single day.

To the teachers, staff, volunteers, and everyone behind Prize Patrol — thank you for letting us be a small part of something so meaningful. Pearland truly shows up for its educators, and it was such a privilege to witness it firsthand.
