Those first few weeks after your child is born are life changing. It’s as if your whole world has opened up and you’ve discovered that life wasn’t as bright or colorful before your baby entered the world. As a Houston newborn photographer, I want to capture what you’re feeling. I want to document the looks exchanged between mother, father and baby. Those are moments so precious that you can’t describe but the ones you want to document forever, on paper. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but I contend that a picture is worth far more. Its worth the memories that will come flooding back when that little hand isn’t so little. When that baby is now in high school, or a mother or father as well. This is the time to cherish. I love to get details of wee little feet, a tiny hand clasped around dad’s finger, that button nose and tuft of fluffy hair. In addition to the details, I’ll also photograph your newborn resting peacefully. There are no crazy poses or bright overwhelming colors, only baby led posing. I photograph your newborn baby in soft neutrals and pastels for the most timeless look.

Because that “newborn look” tends to fade quickly, we will need to schedule your session shortly after you return from the hospital while baby is between 5-14 days old. I totally understand that your home after a newborn, may not be “up to par” and that things are caotic and cleaning is probably the last thing on Momma’s mind therefore, all newborn sessions are done at my studio in Pearland. This is where I have our extensive Studio Wardrobe Collection for use on all sessions,  a beautiful white bed, comfortable white couch, numerous chairs, and all of my props on hand all at your convenience.  You don’t have to worry about a thing and we get to capture your new family in beautiful photographs.
